Brent Youens
Graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1993 with a BSc, Civil Engineering.
Brent has worked in the construction industry since 1994.
Interned for a year as a design engineer for Slabbert & Associates consulting engineers in Durban in 1997.
He is registered as an engineer in training with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
Brent has extensive experience in building and construction, tendering and pricing, civil engineering and pioneered the development of the Tilt-Up division.
Oliver Youens
Graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1997 with a BSc, Civil Engineering.
Oliver has been active in the construction industry since 1998.
Completed a year as a design engineer for Sutherland Engineers in Cape Town in 1999.
He is registered as an engineer in training with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
Oliver has extensive experience in building and construction, tendering and pricing, civil engineering and particular knowledge of the petrochemicals industry.
Mzuyanda Gabada
Completed his BSc, Property Development (Quantity Surveying Honours) in 2007 from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Mzuyanda went on to train as a quantity surveyor at Walters and Simpson Construction Cost Management, working of various industrial and government projects with special emphasis on healthcare.
He worked on key large scale projects, including the Mthatha Private Hospital, Ntuzuma Magistrates Court, Durban City Hall and the Princess Magogo Stadium.
During this time, Mzuyanda obtained his professional status as a quantity surveyor (PRQS) with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession.
Shaun Zeiler
Graduated from the Durban University of Technology in 2004 with a Diploma in Building.
Shaun has worked in the construction industry since 2005, including a year in Ireland working as a quantity surveyor for a major construction company, The Patton Group.
He has completed successful projects for the likes of BP, Engen, Consol Glass and NCP Chlorchem.
He left KwaZulu-Natal in 2011 and helped establish YN Construction’s branch in the Western Cape.
His core experience lies in the petrochemicals industry, including understanding of the rigorous health and safety requirements inherent in this environment.
